I am recruting for - Band 7 Senior Mental Health Practitioner
Must have a professional registration (RMN, LD nurse, Social worker, OT, psychologist).
ASAP start for 3 months initially
37.5 hours per week: Monday - Friday 9 -5 shifts - on site/face to face in SwindonWe will consider changing this to 4 long days.
The role has been described as follows:To provide assessments and interventions to young people who present in crisis at the general hospital, along side offering telephone support to professionals, carers, family and young people who are contacting the service in crisis.To provide daily duty rota, complete risk assessments, care plans, clinical notes and crisis plans where needed.Attend Multi agency meetings as and when required for the patents we support.Provide specific interventions to young people accessing our service.Contribute to the Initial assessments for children referred to CAMHS.Provide consultation and advice to professionals.
The following skills have been specified: -Ability to drive, experience of Community CAMHS or CAMHS in general.Ability to undertake assessments of high risk patients and routine patientsAbility to attend multi agency meetingsAbility to use Microsoft Teams.
Must have a minimum of 6 months UK based experience
