Clinical Nurse Manager - Mental Health / Brain Injury

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mental Health Nurse ( RMN ) or Learning Disability Nurse ( RNLD ) or Registered Adult Nurse ( RGN ) to work as a clinical lead nurse and manager within a specialist rehabilitation service. Located in Rotherham, this is a Specialist Nursing Home for adults with Mental-ill Health and Brain Injuries. Service users are cared for in one of 2 units depending on their unique needs. The salary on offer is up to £42,500 per annum. We can offer both full and part time roles subject to preference

Service Type: SpecialistCare Home for adults with Brain Injuries, Mental Health Issues and Physical Health Needs
Salary: £42,500 per annum- negotiable + £1500 welcome bonus
Hours: Full Time
Shifts: 2 x 12 hour shifts per week with the remainder as supernumerary
Duties include

Deputising for home manager in their absence
Working with the MDT to ensure that care provided is appropriate and relevant to the individual's care package, managing clinical governance within the home
Participating in pre-admission assessments, assessing client care requirements
Providing safe and effective processes for the ordering, handling, storage, administration, recording and disposal of drugs
Formulation and review of support plans
Positively promote the home and engaging with potential funders
Participating in an on-call system to support the nurse in charge
Participating in recruitment and supervision of staff
Promoting choice, independence, dignity and respect
Training / Induction and opportunities for development and progression: The Service offers a structured and thorough 2 week induction programme, which will include various training courses. You will also have access to clear and structured development programmes where you can see clear pathways to progression within the company. Training and development is one of the major ethos' of the company. There are no limits to training and development as the service will fund any training course you would like to do that is relevant to your job role.
