Individual Support Worker
£70 - £80 per day
September start Monday to Friday full time
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position would be at least 6 months experience in the last 2 years working with complex learners.
Temporary to permanent role on a full-time basis.
Vision for Education are looking for several (3 roles available) Individual Support workers to join them in September working on a 1:1 basis with post 16 students who have complex needs. This Individual Support Worker role could involve personal care therefore the ideal Individual Support worker will need to be hands on.
A specialist setting based in Halifax cater for students with additional needs and require extra support on a 1:1 basis. This is a through School with students from KS1 to college age.
To be considered for the Individual Support worker position, you will:
Have experience working with students with additional needs.
Have the ability to adapt and redirect challenging behaviours.
Have team teach training or be willing to attend vision for Educations free CPD course.
