About the service: We are delighted to be recruiting for an Inpatient Registered Nurse to join our highly reputable private healthcare provider in their bright and vibrant private hospital on the outskirts of Ashford ,Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Inpatient Registered Nurse to join a leading, forward-thinking private hospital in their expanding hospital north of Watford. The hospital offers a range of services including specialist rehabilitation physiotherapy and outpatient diagnostic facilities including fast-track access to X-ray, MRI, CT and ultrasound. They pride themselves on their latest technology and safe and infection free work environment.
About the role:
You will be working on the inpatient ward as part of our nursing team and will be responsible for:
Delivering the highest quality of inpatient care to patients
Working well as part of a supportive team, offering knowledge and support as well as working well independently
Assessing patient needs with enthusiasm and empath, always ensuring safety and comfort of patients
Planning, implementing and evaluating care programs, keeping in line with policies and guideline
Administering medication, injections, intravenous infusions, and male and female catheterisation;
Carrying out clinical nursing procedures, including administering medication, assistance with minor procedures, monitoring vital signs, venepuncture and chaperoning
Keeping patient medical records, up to date, accurate and managing them on an IT System
Who we're looking for;
Be NMC registered RGN - your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
Eligibility to live and work in the UK
Previous outpatient experience, within surgical care carrying our minor procedures
Experience working within the private sector is desirable
Phlebotomy, cannulation, ECGs, and intravenous antibiotics would be an advantage.
Clinical nursing experience in acute surgical care
Ability to work well independently and within a team
Good written, numerical, and verbal communication skills
Computer literate using MS Office Suite and web based reporting systems
