Programs include: Living Well Program (General Inpatient Program) Emotion Management Program (EMP) Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) Program Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Program Young Adults Emotion Management Program (YAEMP) Professorial Mood Disorders Unit (associated with The University of Melbourne) Older Persons Psychiatry Eating Disorders Program Drug and Alcohol Detoxification and Rehabilitation Program Intensive Psychiatric Care Program Community Outreach Program to support people in the community A wide range of Day Programs are also available to support people in the community. We are looking for an experienced Mental Health Mental Health Clinician with passion for excellence in customer service delivery to join our team our Eating Disorder Program at The Melbourne Clinic. The position is responsible for providing a high standard of group therapy, including meal support, to patients across our inpatient and outpatient eating disorders programs. As a member of our team your responsibilities will include: Working independently as part of the healthcare team Adhere to Healthscopes and The Melbourne Clinics policies and procedures Demonstrate a commitment to continuous quality improvement, occupational health and safety To be successful in this role you should possess: Appropriate tertiary qualifications in either nursing, psychology, social work or occupational therapy Nursing Appropriate qualifications in Nursing and AHPRA registration Occupational Therapists: Appropriate qualifications in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration Psychologists: Appropriate qualifications in Clinical Psychology and AHPRA registration Endorsement in Clinical Psychology highly desirable Social Workers: Appropriate qualification in Social Work and eligibility for membership for the Australian Association of Social Workers Training and experience working with people with eating disorders Training and experience working within Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy frameworks is highly desirable Experience providing meal support to people with eating disorders is highly desirable Ability to work autonomously Well-developed communication skills and interpersonal skills Excellent organisation, time management and self-management skills Ability to work within and provide leadership within a multi-disciplinary team Experience in group therapy facilitation Commitment to ongoing education and the provision of evidence-based practice Current Working with Children Check Applications close: 7th July 2021 For further enquiries: David Nayler, Chief Social Worker, Ph: E:
