Haringey Council is looking to appoint a Mental Health Social Worker (MHSW) to join the centralized Duty AMHP Hub with the Barnet, Enfield & Haringey Mental Health Trust based at St Ann's Hospital, Tottenham, N15 3TH.

You will be on the centralized AMHP rota as least three days a week as part of the duty AMHP team providing continuity to the service, working closely with the Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team, with health care colleagues/care coordinators, S12 Drs , Responsible Clinicians on wards in BEH, specialist, private & out of borough hospitals.
Your role will be to liaise with Nearest Relatives, carers and carry out Mental Health Act assessments on service users of all age groups.

In order to be successful in this role, you must have:-
- A previous/existing AMHP warrant
- HCPC membership
- Knowledge of mental health treatments and interventions.
- Thorough knowledge of the Mental Health Act and Mental capacity Act
- Ability to work in a fast-paced demanding centralized AMHP Hub.
