Night Nurse Manager Mental Health / Brain Injury

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mental Health Nurse ( RMN ) or Learning Disability Nurse ( RNLD ) or Registered Adult Nurse ( RGN ) Either Full or Part Time in a Night Nurse Manager role. Located in Sheffield, this is a Specialist Nursing Home for adults with Mental-ill Health and Brain Injuries. Service users are cared for in one of seven units depending on their unique needs . The salary on offer is up to £19.88 per hour ( £43,417 p/a) . We can offer both full and part time roles subject to preference

About the service:

Whether its supporting people on their rehabilitation journey from hospital or living in a secure setting to community-based living or providing long term support for people living with degenerative or life-limiting illnesses, this is an opportunity to work with a specialised team focused on positive outcomes for all of their residents. Putting the residents at the very heart of what they do.

The Nurse-led team has the skills and expertise to support people with complex needs including prolonged disorders of consciousness and behaviours of concern, and those who require tracheostomies, ventilators and PEG feeding tubes. The service is split across 8 units - each unit is focusing on a specific patient group or need. The approach to nursing care focuses on maximising independence, building everyday living skills and empowering people to live their best lives. As a Nurse , you'll be empowered to deliver truly person-centred and holistic care in a community-based care home.

Training / Induction and opportunities for development and progression: The Service offers a structured and thorough 2 week induction programme, which will include various training courses.
