You will work as part of a supportive team, focusing on outcomes through a person-centred approach.- The Senior OT (SOT) is responsible for the delivery of effective Occupational Therapy services across multiple sites for adults who present with learning disabilities, mental health and complex needs.- As the SOT, you will contribute to the high standards of person centred care provided within Sequence Care Group, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team as an autonomous individual.- You will portray the core skills needed to carry out a specialised role within a service catering for adults with dual diagnosis and complex needs.- Duties will involve the completion of comprehensive assessments, using clinical reasoning to select appropriate assessment techniques which lead you to identify client's strengths and needs- As the SOT, you will be responsible for delegating an appropriate case load & providing clinical and operational supervision to OT Assistant's.- Part of your duties will also involve devising, implementing and evaluating treatment programmes through comprehensive assessments of clients, using clinical reasoning to select appropriate assessment techniques.- You will be responsible for setting appropriate and realistic goals for treatment producing comprehensive treatment plans in order to achieve goals.- You will be expected to collaborate extensively with clients, carers and other involved professionals in order to develop highly specialised occupational therapy treatment programmes- You will assist with developing and delivering relevant OT training as part of the internal training programmeAbout You:- This post would be relevant for those with previous experience an OT in an adult LD or MH setting- Ideally you will have the ability to work autonomously across Sequence Care Groups services delivering client programmes adhering to local and national professional standards whilst keeping the Lead OT informed.- You are expected to be a proactive member of the multi-disciplinary team ensuring effective communication takes place at all times.Client is offering:- Hours: 9AM - 5PM, Monday to Friday- Paid 45 minute break- Comprehensive internal training Free of charge- Enhanced DBS cost covered- Comprehensive induction based on the Care Certificate- 5 weeks annual leave excluding bank holidays- Life Insurance- Support from our Employee Assistance Program- Membership of employer contribution pension fundIf you're ready to take the next step in your career, please contact Parul on .
