Physical Health Nurse ( RGN )- Low Secure Mental Health Rehabilitation Hospital
We are looking for a qualified RGN Nurse for permanent physical health Nurse position within a 22 bed Male Mental Health rehabilitation service in Battersea.

Salary: up to £18.50 per hour - negotiable dependant on experience
Hours: Full Time 37.5 hours - job share also considered
Shifts: Monday - Friday 9-5 ( can also consider 8-4 or 10 - 6 etc)

The service is a low secure independent hospital providing safe and secure assessment, care and on-going treatment facilities for 22 male patients aged 18 years and over with severe and enduring mental illness and additional complex behaviour.
This role requires you to liaise and work in partnership with the Service Leads, clinical and non-clinical teams to identify, and provide patient's physical healthcare needs. You will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, and providing leadership, direction and training for the nursing team.
To undertake and manage direct patient care.
To ensure the delivery of safe and effective nursing care to all patients within our care.
You will lead the nursing resource in terms of equipment, working closely with the medical director of the company, GP and MDT. The role is the delivery of evidence-based practice for patients with long-term conditions demonstrating critical thinking and skills in clinical decision-making. To undertake the delivery of care, including individual and group sessions, to agree quality standards as prescribed by internal procedures and health legislation.
Training / Induction and opportunities for development and progression: The Hospital offers a structured and thorough 2 week induction programme, which will include various training courses. Nurses will also have access to clear and structured development programmes where nurses can see clear pathways to progression within the hospital. Nurses will also have access to training opportunities to develop and enhance your nursing skills. Nurses will receive ongoing support from your Manager. Training and development is one of the major ethos' of the hospital. There are no limits to training and development as the hospital will fund any training course you would like to do that is relevant to your job role.
