A unique opportunity for a Senior Occupational Therapist is available at a reputed allied health centre based in Melbourne. To outshine in this Senior Occupational Therapist position, you must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able patient, determinant and interested in working closely with people and families. As the Senior Occupational therapist, you will help people of all ages overcome the effects of disability caused by illness, ageing or accident so that they can carry out everyday tasks or occupations. The patient's physical, psychological, social and environmental needs should also be considered.

The Allied Health Centre is a registered National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Provider offering a range of therapeutic services including Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy and Psychology services. The healthcare practice believes in high quality and evidence-based therapy that has a real impact on their patients, and their families. The therapists at the allied health centre have extensive experience working in homes, schools, and other community-based settings.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Valid registration from relevant bodies in the respective field is required
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy is required
  • Registration with the appropriate body (AHPRA)
  • Experience in the NDIS/disability is preferred
  • Ability to work with basic IT including Microsoft Word, Excel, and other C2C specific software
  • Own Car & Valid Driver's License is a prerequisite
  • Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance
