Belmont Recruitment are currently in search of a Registered Qualified CAMHS CBT Therapist / Clinical Counselling Psychologist Band 6-7 to join the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) based out of Havering in Greater North East London bordering Essex and Kent. The role is part time Monday - Wednesday 9:00am - 5:00pm, however there is scope for flexibility so applicants who wish to work full time are still encouraged to apply, this is initially on an ongoing locum however this will most likely be made permanent.
The successful applicant will join a robust mental health multidisciplinary team (MDT) consisting of Registered Paediatricians, Clinical Psychologists, Psychological ART CBT DBT Play Therapists, Speech & Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists, in addition to being joined by professionals from education. You will have the opportunity to positively impact the future of children and young people by offering robust assessments of social communication, comprehensive formulations of need and tailored post diagnostic support. You will also be offered the opportunity to evaluate and develop the service, through both local resources and linking to teams across the borough to support the continuing development of an excellent service for North London. We offer robust clinical supervision, a wide range of CPD opportunities and specialist training/experience. As a service connected to Specialist CAMHS there are possibilities of working in other clinical areas/specialities alongside this role as part of continuing development. Any applicants must gold an appropriate professional regsitartion, BACP, HCPC etc to be considered for this role.
The pay rate for this locum role is between £21.34 - £32.34 per hour dependant on experience, however this is open for negotiation for someone with years of experience.
