Registered Mental Health Nurse

Location: Leek, Staffordshire
Salary: £30,744 -£35,906 per annum ( £15.76 - £18.41 per hour ) negotiable depending on your experience
Bonus incentives: £5,000 Welcome Bonus & £1,200 retention bonus
Hours: Full Time or Part Time hours available depending on preference
Shifts: Days, Nights or mixed shifts available - 7:10 am - 7:30 pm or 7:30 pm - 7:10 am ( 20 min handover )
About the Service & Company:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified or experienced staff nurse to work within a very positive, friendly and supportive specialist Rehabilitation Hospital for women with a Mental Illness, Personality Disorder and/or complex needs in Leek, Staffordshire.
The hospital has recently appointed a brand-new hospital manager who has exciting plans for the service. It's a fantastic opportunity to join and be a part of the growth and development of the service.
They are a 13 bedded service with a unique set up of six single and double bedded apartments.
The service has been given a recent CQC Rating of 'Good' in Dec 2021.
You will be working for an established, stable and agile company with a unique approach to the delivery of care. With a network of over 70 services across England and Wales, providing four services including: Mental Health, Neurological, Learning Disabilities & Autism, Children & Education, there is an opportunity for you to grow and move
The Management

· The hospital manager has worked in the healthcare industry for many years and has a wealth of knowledge which aids the Manager in supporting, training and developing their staff.

· They have a very positive and supportive work environment and a very enthusiastic and innovative team. Staff morale is very high. They are very big on staff development and training.

About our Induction, Training & Development:

The hospital offers a structured and thorough 2-week induction programme, which will include various training courses. You will also have access to clear and structured development programmes where you can see clear pathways to progression within the hospital.
Preceptorship Programme:

· The Hospital has a strong commitment to provide support for newly qualified nurses. This is via a purpose built, structured and comprehensive preceptorship programme. The programme is completed over a 12 week period where you will be a fully supernumerary nurse. This allows you to fully immerse yourself into learning aspects of your new role, whilst having a nurse mentor to work alongside.

· A newly qualified Registered Nurse ( RMN, RNLD, RGN ) ? The Hospital welcomes applications from Mental Health Nurses, Learning Disability Nurses and General Nurses. Full training and support will be given by your own designated mentor.

· Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and full eligibility to live and work in the UK?
