Are you a Registered Nurse with experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services? SCS are currently recruiting for a Registered Nurse to work within an NHS service in the North West.
The services operates Monday to Friday and looking for a Nurse on a full time basis for an initial 13-week contract, with a likelihood of extension.
The position is paying between £20-£36ph (Ltd) depending on band and time of shift worked.
The successful applicant will work within a CAMHS team providing therapeutic support for young people up to the age of 18 managing their own caseload of patients. They will demonstrate an understanding of a range of issues which affect young people's Mental Health including, Anxiety, Depression, Eating Disorders, Psychosis, Self-Harm, ADHD and other complex psychological difficulties.
The service is led by a Multidisciplinary (MDT) of healthcare professionals including Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Dieticians and Teachers therefore the ability to work within a MDT and foster good working relationships is essential. The successful Nurse must have the ability to work under pressure as an effective organised lone worker.
The successful applicant must be a Qualified Nurse fully registered with the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC), have a minimum 1-year recent employed experience working in Children's Mental Health (CAMHS) and a full UK driving license with car available for work purposes.
