Residential support workers Warrington. No experience required. Elderly Care, Alzheimer's, Dementia. Your new companyHays Social Care are currently working in partnership with an outstanding health care provider in Warrington, as they require entry level support workers to work with vulnerable elderly customers in Wilderspool. No previous experience in care is required as full training will be provided, as well as a permanent contract after a successful probationary period.Your new roleAs a residential support worker, you will be working with elderly care users with varying needs such as disabilities, Alzheimer's, and Dementia. Typically, you will work with the same care users for continuity, enabling you to not only provide a high level of care but to also build strong constructive relations with each resident and their wider family. As a support worker your main duty is to not just support people in day-to-day life, but to encourage care user's independence and to build self-esteem. Other duties will include but are not limited too; social interaction and companionship (taking care users out on trips and taking a key interest in the interests of care users), administering medication, personal care, meal preparation, feeding, and observations. Full PPE must be worn at all times whilst on site. ShiftsDay shift is a combination of 08:00 - 15:00 and 15:00 - 22:00 (Monday to Friday and every other weekend). You must be available to cover both patterns.What you'll need to succeedAs no experience is required, we are looking for people that have:

  • A full driving license and access to your own vehicle is advantageous but not essential
