Seeking a San Antonio based Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) for an overnight shift in a Private Residence. Warm, friendly environment with a bustling household staff.Hours are 8-10 hour shifts (something like 9p - 7a)MANDATORY5 years "on the floor experienceWillingness without reservation to work overnights exclusivelyPhysically capable of assisting patient as needed.PREFERREDExperience working with elderly and/or memory care.Experience with wound care.Experience working overnight shifts.BROAD DUTIESAssisting with care needs that might arise during the evening (frequent visits to the bathroom, hydration assistance, occasional medications, etc.)Evaluation of patient history.Performance of nursing assessments.Ongoing communication and collaboration with patients PA.Close collaboration with patients domestic support team.TYPICAL DAYChecking in with patients support team.Review of daily nutrition intake (fluids and food) and other daily updates.Standing by for any assistance patient may need.Preparation of nightly reports summarizing patient stats and any recommendations.IDEAL CANDIDATEPrefers an overnight shift.Personable, thoughtful, positive, bright, discreet.Knows how to read the room and is adept at reading cues and adapting tone and style to match patients tone and style.Likes dogs.POSITION LOCATIONPosition will be based in San AntonioOTHER: Must have current Covid vaccinationsSTART DATE: Will hire immediately for the right candidate.POSITION TYPE: Full Time Employee with benefits, but will consider candidates seeking Part-Time WorkCOMPENSATION: Compensation pending candidate qualifications.
