Registered Nurse Full-time Day Shift 7A 7P


Provides services in palliative care, symptom management, and supportive care for chronically and seriously illhospitalized patients and their families. Utilizes the nursing process based onan expanded knowledge base of pathophysiology and pharmacology to assist withcomprehensive health care assessments, diagnosis, treatments, and management ofacute and chronic health conditions. Clinical decisions are formulated inconsultation and collaboration with attending physicians. The Palliative Carenurse is additionally involved in education, consultation and research atvarious levels.

Qualifications

What you need to be successful:
  • ADN required / BSN preferred
  • Texas RN license or compact license isaccepted
  • Palliative Care or Hospice Care preferred
  • Current BLS and ACLS issued by the AmericanHeart Association or American Red Cross required
  • Musthave at least one (1) year RN experience in an acute care hospital
