About the Role:
Working at a 3 bed residential home for children aged 8-18 who have various learning disabilities. You will work to ensure the children in your care are experiencing a safe and happy childhood in a friendly, warm and inclusive environment.
We are looking for someone who will help our clients team continue to ensure the best possible environment. We are looking for someone who has a compassionate and positive attitude, is adaptable to changing situations and has excellent communication skills. If you have experience in a similar setting with disabled children and young people, this would be advantageous but not essential as full training can be given.
Providing care for young people throughout the night by supporting set routines, attending to personal care and administer medication following appropriate training.
We can offer this role as a full time position, working 37 hours a week.
Shifts are Monday - Friday 21.30pm - 7.30am, Saturday - Sunday 21.30 - 9.30am
The set shift patterns are:
Week One (Wed, Thu, Fri)
Week Two (Mon, Tues, Sat, Sun)

The perfect candidate
Previous experience or knowledge of working with people with Learning Disabilities and
Physical Disabilities and challenging behaviour.
Previous experience in residential care would be desirable but not essential.
